Built properly, board by board

The timber is high-grade Scandinavian redwood sourced from FSC certified suppliers. Its shiplap tongue and groove boards interlock tightly for a strong, weathertight finish that helps prevent warping. They are also smooth planed, so they look good straight away and take any treatment you want to apply.

The walls, the floor and the roof all use the same 12mm shiplap, with no chipboard or OSB in the structure. It sits on a 32mm x 32mm framework, considerably thicker than the framing used by leading competitors. At the joints the frame is doubled to 32mm x 64mm for a really solid connection. The result is a robust summerhouse made for everyday use.

Finish it your way

Your garden is part of your living space, so your summerhouse should match your style. It is delivered untreated, leaving you free to choose from our range of colours and finishes and pick the one that suits your home's palette. Treatments have to be reapplied every year anyway, even when the manufacturer applies the first coat. Choosing your own from the start means you never pay for an orange finish you didn't want.

*The 10-year guarantee covers the timber against general rot and decay, as long as a suitable treatment is applied every year. It does not cover splits or warping, which can occur naturally in timber over time. Other terms and conditions apply.
